Although, Akash Saraf is an aspiring pianist who claims to be blind to improve his piano skills. While crossing the street, he remains run over by Sophie. She takes care of Akash, and they soon start an intimate romantic relationship. But, Sophie remains impressed by Akash’s talent and gets him an engagement at her father’s restaurant. At dinner, a retired actor, Pramod Sinha, notices Akash and invites him to perform on his wedding day.

Akash arrives at the Sinhas’ apartment, and Pramod’s wife, Simi, opens the door. Simi convinced that Akash is blind, lets him play the piano. Akash sees Pramod’s body nearby but feigns ignorance and continues to play; He also sees Manohar, Simi’s lover, hiding in the bathroom. Simi and Manohar clean up the corpse and put it in a suitcase while Akash plays.

Akash efforts to report the murder to the police but finds out that Manohar is a police inspector. Meanwhile, Simi overhears her elderly neighbor, Mrs. D’Sa, talking to a police officer about Pramod’s murder. Simi later kills Ms. D’Sa by pushing her off the ledge of her apartment. Akash sees the murder but remains forced to continue faking blindness. When Simi later brings her poisoned offerings after her husband’s final rites and pulls out a weapon, Akash admits to faking his blindness to help him play the piano. He says he will go to London and keep Simi’s secret, but she drugged him.
