When we look at the merchandise we use every day, most are helpful, attractive, and seemingly very simple.
But even the most specific products are much more complicated than they appear. These products must not only be designed and designed but also manufactured.
Industrial design is multidisciplinary and encompasses many areas of design. It includes manufacturing products and other items used by consumers, from the idea phase to the manufacturing process.

Industrial Design Concept

The concept of industrial design was born in the mouth of Mart Stam in 1948 (Hirdina, 1988). Industrial designers understand Stam as those designers who worked.
Industrial design defines the discipline of creating and developing industrial products that can be mass-produced and mass-produced.
It is an activity in the field of design where creativity and ingenuity come into play.

Industrial design based on Gui Bonsiepe

German designer Gui Bonsiepe is a great theorist and teacher of design. He studied and taught at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) in Ulm, Germany, later considered a continuation of the Bauhaus.
For us, Gui Bonsiepe defines industrial design as a design discourse through an ontological scheme that consists of four communal areas:

• First, a user or a social agent wants to act (user).
• The second is a task he wants to do himself (to accomplish a job).
• Third, we find a utensil or artifact that the agent needs to act (tool, antique, or product).
• The fourth and final point is the interface that connects the previous three areas with the human body. (This is the central area that the designer pays attention to). The interface design articulates the action space for the user.

Industrial Design, According to Bruno Munari

Italian designer Bruno Munari was a professor at Harvard who proposed a problem-solving design method.
He explains his basics on the design process using a simple analogy like cooking, as long as a logical method or sequence remains followed.
Through this process, he considers the main elements of design: texture, structure, shape, modulus, and also movement.
